8/18/2005 - I wanted to let you know about the two Kansas State Fair projects in which we incorporated Moderra Concrete Siding. The two buildings turned out extremely well. When I was designing the project I needed a product that was durable, aesthetically pleasing and cost effective. I am pleased to say that your product solved all these needs.
With this being a state funded project, we needed to stay within the budget, and Moderra allowed us to do that. Had we chosen a mortared masonry system, we would have exceeded the proposed budget. Moderra allowed us to put masonry on these buildings and still meet the customer’s budget requirements. The owner vas very happy that we could accomplish this.
Moderra also gave us some different design options. With different types of fascias and colors to choose from, it gave us several options for the design of these buildings. The contractors were very surprised and happy with the ease of installation. In fact, they have commented that they would use your system again if the opportunity arises.
The Kansas State Fair Board is extremely happy with the outcome of this project and the look Moderra provides for these buildings. With Fair time right around the corner, we are anxious to get feedback from the Fair attendees. We hope they are as happy with the results as we have been. We look forward to working with Moderra on future projects.
